I hope you all had amazing Easter Holidays, I know I did! I spent the 4 day weekend camping down south of WA in Yallingup, well for most of the time… I was with a group of 10 friends and we ending up staying 1 night at Caves Caravan Park in Yallingup, 1 night in the middle of the bush somewhere in Yallingup and we spent our last night camping on Myalup beach. We all had the 4WDs which got put to great use going over all the trails and getting on to the beach to set up! I’m completely in love with camping and 4WDing at the moment! Nothing better than being with friends outdoors, drinking around a campfire, listening to music and talking crap!

Earlier in March I also had a trip to Melbourne to visit my sister and to see Taylor Swift perform at Rod Laver Arena. The concert was beyond amazing, no words can even give justice to her performance! So many props and so theatrical, you would have to see it to believe it I think.

Whilst I was in Melbourne I was also involved in a photo shoot for an eyelash extension company. It was all pretty much face/beauty shots and I’m pretty chuffed with how they turned out and so is this client which is the most important point!

Towards the end of my March my friend Chloe came over to Perth from Sydney for the weekend to party it up with me the Perth way! I took her to The Raffles in Applecross for the Friday night, with my other girlfriends, where we indulged in there many varieties of masterpiece pizzas and a few glasses (bottles) of white wine. We were blessed with beautiful weather on the Saturday, so I of course took her to the breath-taking Cottesloe Beach. They have orange sand in Sydney which I found really weird too? Just a random fact I thought id throw in…

On the Saturday night I rounded up my gals again and we headed into the city (after some pre drinks at my place) to The Aviary on Murray Street. The Aviary is a rooftop bar with great views of the city and a pumping music and atmosphere, although on the downside they don’t sell shots! I’m a sucker for lick, sip and suck! At about 12am when The Aviary closed we trotted off to the Paramount and then too Canvas in Northbridge. Canvas is all kind of old school hip hop and rap and you’re just guaranteed an amazing night there, every time.

I have Groovin’ The Moo coming up so soon now, the 19th May, which I am ridiculously excited for! I have a house booked for the weekend for myself and all my mates and a bus to take us to the festival and too return us home! Another exciting news flash; I have just booked a trip to Bali for June! I haven’t been there for just over a year now so I’m craving my Bali fix badly! Ive also got a friends 19th in June which we are staying down south in Margaret River for a weekend. I clearly like weekends away down south!

Oh and I was also at The Brisbane on Beaufort Street, Highgate, one Sunday when a lady came up and asked me if she could take a few snaps of me holding a Corona for a written piece that was being published in the next days ‘West Australian’ newspaper. I didn’t realise how many people actually read the newspaper every day! The response was insane, so many calls, texts and facebooks etc! On another random note, I also recently wrote a review on The Ocean Beach Hotel in Cottesloe for BarsandNightclubs.com. You can check it out here – http://www.barsandnightclubs.com.au/perth/perth-west/ocean-beach-hotel/

Well, it has been a while! My life is pretty much the definition of hectic at the moment. Sets on the Beach Volume 6 was on February 18th and it was my first time attending one. ‘Sets’ is like a mini festival on Scarborough Beach, always hosting a promising line up of DJs and performers. Sets on the Beach is a festival that happens every summer month (December through to March) and the last one for this year is the 25th of March, which yes, I will definitely be attending!

A couple of weeks ago I also flew to Sydney for a weekend where I stayed in the Northern Beaches at a friends house. It was just a little weekender to catch up with friends over there and party it up the Sydney way, which I had missed a little! Needless to say, I arrived back to Perth with an empty bank account. Thank you Westfield…

On Sunday (4th March) I attended Future Music Festival 2012 at Joondalup Arena also. AMAZING. I am a huge festival goer and this years Future lineup was not one to miss! With the public holiday on the Monday being a major added bonus. I definitely needed that extra day to recover… I would have also liked today, but alas, life goes on! Skrillex and Knife Party were the performers that I was most eager to see, and wow they did not fail me! Die Antwoord was also insane, probably my favourite performer of the entire festival. So many outfit changes and they just say and do such crazy things!

This Saturday I fly off to Melbourne for a week for another little relaxing and shopping holiday, which Im quite looking forward too! Coming Up – Camping douth (down south) for Easter, holiday housing in May for Groovin The Moo and hopefully a Bali trip will be on the cards for June!

Hello everyone and happy weekend to you all! I have been pretty flat out these past few weeks with numerous events here and there and Thursday (16th Feb) was no exception working at the 2012 WA Fashion Awards, the biggest and most iconic fashion event of the year for Perth. The space was set up with a really cool, vintage layout with all the antique furniture and decorations eg. the many bird cages dotted about the ever so exclusive event. It was a cocktail style party, so half of the event standing and half sitting giving it a relaxed ambience and feeling, however I could feel the air buzzing with excitement and anticipation as all the nominees awaited their award category announcements!

I had the opportunity to help out with all the guest arrivals, getting to greet exclusive guests such as WA’s Premier, Colin Barnett and the mastermind designers behind such labels as Zhivago and Little Gracie. I was then put to work congratulating the winners of the various awards, such a hard life I know… An especially big congratulations to Holly Caiulo who won two honours on the night – Runway Model of the Year and Photographic Model of the year and of course to Ange Lang who took home the honour of the Designer of the Year award.

Please mind the dodgy quality photos, all I had was my iPhone on hand and I did my best!

I was lounging around at The Ocean Beach Hotel in Cottesloe, chilling out to their amazing and beautiful Sunday session with my gals and guys, when talk of The Big Day Out came up in coversation. With some slight persuasion, a few vodka, lime and sodas and with two of my best girlfriends within reach, we decided to make a spontaneous last minute trip to the Perth BDO 2012.

One bus and one train later, we arrived at McCallum Park where this years Perth BDO took place. We just made it just in time to hear the chart topper single ’Pumped Up Kicks’ by Foster the People and were lucky enough to catch the butt end of Girl Talks set. I danced my heart out and my feet off to Shockone for a good hour or more, which was then followed by more mental dancing to the one and only, NERO – The creators of some of my all time favourites songs, such as Promises, Crush On You, Guilt and Innocent. I couldnt have asked for a better way to end the weekend!

Just a few snaps from my cruise back in December to the Polynesian Islands. An amazing time with amazing people! The photos speak for themselves I think!
